Data controller

Jérôme Cordonnier, owner of Villa Zandoli Lot. les Papayers, 97229 Les Trois-Îlets, Martinique Email: contact@villa-zandoli.com We have not appointed a data protection officer: the scale of our activity does not require one. Your requests therefore reach us directly.

What we collect

We only collect what you send us yourself, through the contact form or the availability request:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number, if you fill it in — the field is optional
  • Intended dates and number of guests
  • The message you write

No account is created, no password is asked for, and no payment details pass through this site: payments, when there are any, go through the booking platforms or directly between us. We collect no sensitive data within the meaning of the GDPR.

Purpose and legal basis

Your enquiries are used solely to reply to you and arrange a stay. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual steps taken at your request — you write to us, we answer. Audience measurement rests on a different basis: your consent, collected by the banner on your first visit. You may withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it. We carry out no marketing, no profiling and no automated decision-making. Your data is never sold, rented or exchanged.

Who has access

Nobody but us makes use of it. Two technical providers process it on our behalf, within the scope of their work:

  • Resend, our delivery provider: it carries your enquiries to our mailbox, without keeping them beyond delivery.
  • Vercel, our host: enquiries pass through its servers, which keep a short-lived technical trace in their runtime logs.
  • Google, for audience measurement — only if you accepted it, and never receiving the content of your messages.

These providers are established in the United States. Transfers outside the European Union rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The map on the villa page also loads its tiles from CARTO and OpenStreetMap, which therefore receive your IP address.

How long we keep it

Your enquiries arrive in our mailbox and are kept there for one year after our last exchange, then deleted. If a stay takes place, the related documents are kept for as long as our accounting and tax obligations require. Your cookie choice is kept for six months, refusal as well as acceptance, after which we ask again.

Cookies and audience measurement

Nothing is stored on your device without your agreement, apart from what the site cannot work without — including the record of your own choice, without which the banner would reappear on every page. If you accept audience measurement, Google Analytics stores two cookies for thirteen months to tell us which pages are read. Refusing takes nothing away from your visit. The detail of each cookie, and the way to change your mind, are on the “Cookie settings” page, reachable from the footer.

Your rights

The GDPR gives you the following rights, which you may exercise at any time:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Have it corrected if it is inaccurate
  • Have it erased
  • Restrict its processing
  • Object to its processing
  • Receive a copy in a readable format, to take elsewhere
  • Withdraw your consent to audience measurement, without affecting what was done before

Write to us at contact@villa-zandoli.com. We answer within one month. We may ask you to prove your identity if genuine doubt remains, and only in that case.

Complaints

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the CNIL — 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, or cnil.fr. You may do so directly, without contacting us first.
