Villa Zandoli · Our Story
Behind the villa, a family
A villa is more than its walls. It tells the story of those who built it, lived in it, and chose to share it.
« We don't rent a house. We share a place we love »
Villa Zandoli is our family home. A beautiful Creole villa we built in 2015 on this unique plot surrounded by lush vegetation and a peaceful stream. We designed it to live outdoors while maintaining unrivalled comfort.
For years, every detail was thought through by us. Originally conceived as a family villa, we eventually decided to open it to others — to people looking for something beyond the anonymity of a hotel, who want to feel at home, in a real house, on a real island. Sailors at heart, we moved onto a boat to pursue other dreams.

Our Story
30 years of Caribbean roots
Jérôme is a naval craftsman, originally from Arras. Isabelle is a primary school teacher. Their meeting in Martinique in the 1980s permanently tied their fate to the island — a true island of the heart they never left.
The villa was built by their own hands. They have known every stone of this land for over 10 years. It was designed to withstand the tropical climate — concrete structure, adapted roofing, natural ventilation — without sacrificing aesthetics.
Today they pursue a nomadic lifestyle aboard their houseboat, exploring the beauty of the Caribbean islands. It is Sandrine, a Martinique local by adoption, who watches over the villa and welcomes guests.
What matters to us
No marketing charter. Three concrete things we try to deliver every stay.
A home, not a product
Every element of the villa was chosen by us — the furniture, the bedding, the kitchen equipment. We don't manage a rental portfolio. We share our home, and that changes everything about the way we take care of it.
A real reply, not a bot
We answer messages ourselves. No external manager, no automated system. If you ask about beaches or restaurants, it's us who reply — with our genuine recommendations.
The island first
We work exclusively with local service providers. The gardener, the housekeeper — we know them personally. For us, renting the villa also means supporting the local economy.
Our relationship with Martinique
An island we never tire of discovering
Martinique is a true Caribbean gem. Between its paradise beaches, its flavourful cuisine and its lush jungle, you'll be spoilt for choice!
For sport lovers there's plenty too: hiking, water sports, sailing, canyoning — impossible to get bored! And for families who prefer to take it easy: nothing beats a lazy afternoon nap in the shade by the beach.
Martinique is not a destination. It's a revelation. And we'd love for you to leave with that feeling.
